Another 6 people were injured in an accident that occurred this Sunday (20)

An electric trio fell into a bank this Sunday morning (20) in the city of Machados, in Pernambuco. Three people who were part of the band Trio Zeus died and six were injured. The fall of the heavy vehicle occurred in a certain place on the road known as Curva da Pedra.

Military Police officers from the 6th Independent Company, responsible for policing Machados, were called to respond to a call about a vehicle that had overturned and fallen into an embankment. The Fire Department was also called.

At the scene, agents located two dead people, and a third victim was taken to the nearest health unit, but did not survive, according to g1.

Six other people were taken to Edison Alvares Hospital, four of them in serious condition. On social media, the city of Machados reported that patients who were found in a more serious condition were referred to other cities with better preparation in health units.

Last Saturday (19) the band was participating in a party to celebrate the re-election of Mayor Juarez da Banana. On his Instagram, the politician lamented the accident.

“It is with sadness that I receive the news of the accident with Trio Zeus, and the death of three of the components, in addition to the six injured, who are currently receiving all the necessary care from a team of six doctors, four nurses and technicians prepared to carry out the necessary procedures until removal to other hospitals”, said the mayor.

The Pernambuco Social Defense Secretariat informed in a note that the Civil Police of Pernambuco was also contacted. The police investigation will investigate the accident.
