A man was found dead on Avenida Vale do Tororó, close to Lapa station, in Salvador, on Sunday afternoon (20). The body had gunshot marks and has not yet been identified.
Military police officers from the 18th Battalion (BPM) were called after receiving a complaint and, upon arriving at the scene, they found the victim already dead. The team isolated the area and contacted the Technical Police Department (DPT).
The Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP – Salvador) investigates the circumstances of the death and seeks to identify the victim and perpetrators of the crime. Guides for forensic examination and removal of the body were issued.
