Carlinhos Brown celebrates daughter Leila’s 15th birthday: ‘Sweet and enlightened’

Singer and composer Carlinhos Brown, 61, used his Instagram profile to pay tribute to his daughter Leila, who turns 15 this Monday (21).
“Today we celebrate our dear Leila’s 15th birthday! A sweet and bright girl, who became a precious gift for our entire family. Your smile brings joy and light to our days, and every moment by your side is a true blessing”, began the artist.
“We thank God for bringing you into our lives, daughter. May this new chapter of your life be filled with fulfilled dreams, love and happiness. We look forward to seeing all the wonders the future holds for you! I love you!” he added.
In addition to Leila, the musician has seven other children: Nina de Freitas, 31, from his relationship with Raquel Machado; Miguel Freitas, 27, from his relationship with Vânia Ferso; Clara, 25, Cecilia, 17, and Francisco, 26, from his marriage to Helena Buarque de Holanda; and Daniel, 5, and Maria Madah, 2, from his relationship with Danielle Barvanelle.
Clara is Carlinhos’ most famous daughter. The actress and singer was born on the same day as her father, November 23, and inherited her family’s vocal talent. In addition to being part of the cast of Travessia, on Globo, she was part of the musical Novos Baianos, in 2019, and the series Tudo Igual Só Que Não, on Disney+, in 2022.
