In Salvador, Outer Banks actors enjoy Olodum and dance in Bahia shirts

The actors from the series Outer Banks came to Salvador as part of the promotion of Tudum 2024, an event run by Netflix, the streaming company responsible for the series. Rudy Pankow, Chase Stokes and Jonathan Daviss played with the Olodum block this Sunday (20).
On Netflix’s official Instagram in Brazil, photos of the actors with Olodum were published, with a caption referring to the city. “Salvador is so Outer Banks that I had to bring my pogues to ‘Tudum na Lata’. If there was Olodum? Of course”, says the text.

In addition to Salvador’s traditional music, the actors also interacted with the city’s football. They were photographed wearing the Brazilian national team shirt.

The actors also visited Arena Fonte Nova wearing Bahia shirts, and recorded videos on the field imitating the ‘little dance’ done by Brazilian player Vinícius Júnior with Real Madrid players when he won his last Champions League.

The artists stayed at the Fera Palace Hotel, located in the city’s Historic Center, and also released the episodes of the fourth and final season of the series, which will be released on October 10th. The second part of the episodes will be available on November 7th, on the Netflix platform.
The movement to publicize Tudum 2024 was mainly carried out by the “Tudum na Lata” action, which sent themed cans full of objects related to Netflix series to Brazilian fans who entered the website to place an order.

It was not disclosed how long the actors will spend in Brazil, or whether they will visit other cities chosen as headquarters to promote Tudum. The arrival of the Outer Banks cast to Brazilian soil reinforces the production’s relationship with the country, which began with the use of a song by singer Erasmo Carlos in the series’ soundtrack.

On social media, internet users complained about the surprise, which had no prior notice so that fans could see the actors.
What will happen on the Outer Banks
Since 2020, fans of the series have followed the story of the group of friends who search, on an island, for a lost treasure connected to the disappearance of protagonist John B.’s father.
In the next season, which takes place more than a year after the end of the previous one, the group of friends that stars in the series finds gold, but ends up meeting a new resident of the island who highlights the imminent danger of the place.
