Musk took a swipe at Cardi B
Because the U.S. presidential election approaches, Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has publicly criticized Elon Musk after he referred to as her a “puppet” supporting Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. Musk, an avid Donald Trump supporter, took a swipe at Cardi B, responding to a Trump fan account’s publish that includes a clip of her at a rally in Milwaukee for Harris.
“One other puppet who cannot even discuss with out being fed the phrases,” Mr Musk mentioned in a quote tweet, referring to a teleprompter malfunction that triggered Cardi B to stall till she was handed her speech notes on a cellphone.
Cardi B rapidly responded, “I am not a puppet, Elon. I am a daughter of two immigrant mother and father who labored onerous to supply for me!” She continued, “I am a product of welfare, part 8, poverty, and the truth of a system that is arrange towards you… However you would not know something about that. You do not perceive the American wrestle. PS repair my algorithm.”

Musk, who was born in South Africa to rich mother and father, together with his father Errol Musk, who reportedly held a stake in a Zambian emerald mine, has confronted criticism for his remarks on socioeconomic points.
On the rally, Cardi B delivered a strong speech on girls’s rights, condemning Donald Trump’s alleged sexism. “Similar to Kamala Harris, I have been the underdog, underestimated and discredited. Ladies should work ten instances more durable to show themselves, and nonetheless, we’re questioned. I am unable to stand a bully, and like Kamala, I will at all times stand as much as one.”
