Russia launched 55 satellites into orbit on Tuesday, together with two privately constructed Iranian gadgets, amid deepening ties between Moscow and Tehran.
A Soyuz rocket blasted off from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s Far East at 02:18 Moscow time (2318 GMT on Monday) carrying the satellites, Russia’s Roscosmos house company mentioned.
In whole, Roscosmos mentioned 51 Russian satellites, one Russian-Chinese language system and a Russian-Zimbabwean satellite tv for pc have been put into orbit, in addition to the 2 Iranian satellites.
It mentioned it was a “file variety of Russian satellites concurrently put into orbit.”
